Erik, do you see it on iTunes now? I just checked and it’s up there. If you’re looking on your iPhone, I’ve noticed that sometimes there is an extra delay before it shows up on the iPhone store.

Hey guys great show. It is on iTunes now so anyone can get it now.
Too bad Robey wasn’t on the show but I’m sure he was working to get things ready for E3 at the time.

I just got done watching the highlights on Live and I’m just blown away but all the features coming. I hope to hear more details soon.

P.S. the motion camera looks killer. I love the interactive interface, its what I was hoping for. I just hope its not too expensive. But I’m guessing I’m going to have to give a pretty good chunk of change for it

I just got done playing in the 1 vs. 100 Beta and it was pretty sweet. It’s running pretty smooth already. Did anyone else get a chance to get in a play?

Chirs, its funny you talked about the Star Trek episodes being touched up.
This was something that has totally ruined Star Wars for me, Im a Star Wars guy, and I HATE what they did to the original trilogy when they released them with Boba’s voice changed and changing out Anakin at the end of Jedi.

Liked the Transformers talk too, being a comic fan, it always hurts when they change things for movies so I get where you’re coming from.

Hey Nat, Thanks for the comments.
I too am an original Trilogy Star Wars guy over anything else.
The thing I like about the Star Trek episodes is that they showed restraint and just “redrew” certain cheesy effects. In Star Wars they add scenes that don’t need to be there, change things (like Han shooting second), and make everything flashy and CG so it doesn’t mix with the original props and models. They don’t do this on the Star Trek TOS Blu-rays which is nice…and best of all they let you choose which version you want to watch…original or new effects. Unlike the Star Wars trilogy where Lucas says he doesn’t consider the original cuts “finished” and doesn’t do any restoration work on them (you can get them on DVD but they are letterboxed (not animorphic widescreen), 2 channel audio (not 5.1), and identical to the laserdisc releases from the 1990’s).
Transformers were a huge part of my childhood from 1984-1987 and I still love seeing what they do with the franchise. While I’m not a fan of the Michael Bay film since it changes too much, has too much “kiddie humor”, and focuses more on the humans than robots, I do enjoy what Takara/Hasbro is doing with the now cancelled Transformers Animated series and toys, the rerelease of the ORIGINAL Transformers series on DVD from Shout! in a Matrix of Leadership DVD box coming early-to-mid July, and the Transformers Classics, G1 rereleases, and Masterpiece toy lines. I spent about an hour playing with one of the new Binaltech Transformers of the RX-8 (Jazz) last Friday and it was amazing how much detail they put into it.

I can just about live with the 1997 re-releases of Star Wars, its still not the same but its better than actually ADDING newer actors to where original actors were.

I think its a great idea that they give you both versions of Star Trek, I’ll admit Ive been tempted by the box set as Im a sucker for HD stuff.

I was born a little late for the Transformers craze, I had a few toys back then but it wasnt on TV in any good form of the original show. I remember Beast Wars and at the time I thought it was pretty cool, looking back at it…not so much lol
