In this episode we take you on a wonderful journey through space and time! It’s really difficult for me to explain how it all works but what I can tell you is that, time travel was involved. Here at Platform Biased we have a firm grasp on Continuity. It’s very important to us and not something to be trifled with. So, we devoted an entire show to proving our mastery over Continuity. Give the episode a listen and you’ll see. Just remember…where we’re going we don’t need roads….
XOXO From the Future (or past) Porkfry
P.s. John, Bex, and Chris all say hi also from the future (or past)

I am confused, downloading it right now though
.
Great show guys
Downloading…. Now! Thanks.
Do you guys realize what you’ve done? With this show you have created a time paradox, which could result in the very unraveling of our space-time continuum, and destroy the entire universe. WERE ALL DOOMED….
But anyway great show, and I’m looking forward to the next one.
Here’s a Q
Since I know some of you majored in CS, what should I expect going into it myself? Classes, workload, experiences, etc.
Thanks!
Nate
Wow, i am still confused though I understand it now a bit more, can’t wait for the next show in the future from the past that is the present of the future.
@Joris: We basically started recording a show…ran out of room on our memory card and stopped recording mid-show, all got swamped, and then picked up recording (halfway through the episode) 3 weeks later. Not sure if that bridges the timespace continium, but the important thing is that we are all caught up and hopefully from this point on out we’ll have something new every two-ish weeks. ;p
Great to hear that
. I understand it now
.
Awesome show! Hey I need to interview game testers before saturday for a school project could you help me out?
Much appreciated.
*sigh*. Your colleague, Major Nelson, didn’t start publicizing the news items until he had been meeting a regular deadline for quite some time. There’s little that is more boring than listening to old announcements. (Maybe MS is requiring all podcasts to make those announcements, if so, then they need to rethink this!)
What else to talk about? Well, for starters, you could reminisce about working on Mass Effect. That’s certainly a different sort of game & there was probably interesting techniques used to test the branching storyline.
Also, the XBL tech blog talked about the virtual XBL setup for testing games, so it isn’t a secret. You could talk about what that’s like from a game developer POV instead of a platform developer POV.
Also, preparing for DLC must require certain hooks & capabilities to be built into the original disk software. I wonder how you test those without the DLC to work with….
I do have a question actually
.
.
What is the most frustrating problem you have ever encountered during the testing of any of the games you worked on?
And is working on DLC eventually easier or even harder then the full game? And do you test games often again in light of new firmware/dashboard updates?
Can’t wait for the next show btw
Hello from Portugal!
So… question: Will Porkfry have problems with Green Peace cause he keeps his 360 on 24/7 ? LOL
All the best to all.
Take care
As I have only just listened to this now, at the start of June, I can honestly say that you have borked my GRATE BRANE.
Say hi to John Titor for me!
Cant wait for the next podcast
. I am sure you guys have loads to talk about
.
I have had a chance to play it and I love it but please tell us listeners more
.
And I do have a question for Chris, how do you test a game like Kincet Sports?
