Great podcast, loved the attention to Disneyland Adventures since I love that park. Was really surprised to hear the Fantasmic music in the trailer since when I last was in Disneyland it was supposed to be there just for 1 year… (1995, yup, been a while since I was last there but still everything looked familiair in the game :) )
Thank you guys for answering my question :) ,

Haven’t heard the whole show…but it sounds like you’ll have two in a row which discuss actual game testing!!!

    :-)

As for the progression system in BF3, it sounds like a reverse of the normal sports handicap system such as in golf or bowling where the newest/worst players have some sort of benefit to even things out. This sounds like the best players have additional advantages.

Your comments near the end about the “Kinect house” were interesting to me. I’m interested in how the games adapt to the size of the room and how you verity that works properly. I’m also interested in lighting…do you try to light the test spaces like home spaces or do you use the normal overhead fluorescent office lighting.

    :-)

I was initially very excited to use Kinect on my 360, but find myself frustrated with the difference between what Kinect thinks my placespace is and what my furniture thinks my playspace is. Our room is longer than wide. Games like Dance Central and some Kinect Sports (bowling, track, etc) work well because we’re mostly moving in place. However, I can’t progress far in soccer or that leak plugging game in KA because they want me to place my foot in the middle of one of my couches.

    :-(

Sometimes, I seem to have more luck if I start the game as close to the sensor as it lets me go, but then I feel I’m leaving most of the room unused.
