Enjoyed the story about Kojima-sama and the autograph.

Also always enjoy hearing about Kameo. It has a special place in my heart as my first story-driven video game. I started in gaming when Pong was new, but didn’t do any gaming in college or grad-school. And when my wife & I got a PS/2 (for research purposes) we played mostly music & dance games.

How’s that extralife fundraising going? You might get more from PB listeners if you gave us a link.

I actually met Kojima (briefly) at PAX 2012 this year. Seemed like a nice guy, but busy. I was sad that he wouldn’t sign my 1987 MSX Metal Gear due to stupid signing rules (no personal items, no up close pictures) set up by Konami, but did get a nice 25th Anniversary Metal Gear poster for my nearly 3 hour wait.

Extra Life Fundraising is going well, but we have a ways to go to get us from $1700 and change to $5k by the 20th of next month. Here is a link to our page: http://www.extra-life.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.team&eventID=508&teamID=7955
