Hello faithful listeners. This week those of us that bring you this fabulous show were stricken by a sudden debilitating phenomenon called… snow . This plague has daunted us for the past 5 days inflicting horrible trials such as, but not limited to, days without power, large amounts of time spent at home with our families, no free pop, and other trials too horrible to describe.

We have finally been able to persevere and trudge through the icy hell that is the Pacific Northwest and make it into work so that we can let you know that our podcast, Show 075, the “Best of the Year” show, has been delayed until next week. We apologize for this inconvenience and blame it fully on the snow .

Please look for our gamertags (Porkfry, Punisher, Chris Redfield) as well as Uberrific which is the profile from Uber Entertainment.

On September 10th, 2011 from 7PM-10PM PDT the Platform Biased team will be taking to the airwaves to battle it out in Monday Night Combat. We’ll update with a list of our gamertags that should be in the game, but most of us should be on playing.

Sorry for the technical delays in posting shows and adding podcast value as of late.  We are all crunching for E3 and John is chained and shackled to his desk until Crackdown 2 ships.  We’ve also had a little problem with one of our shows going and getting all “corrupted” after we spent a few hours editing it….stupid show!  Note that we’ve got 2.5 shows recorded and “in the can” that we’ll work on editing and posting as time permits and we’ll be back to our regular bimonthly (or fortnightly for our friends in Europe!) podcasts soon.  Thanks for hanging on a little while, while we juggle our work and get caught up on the backlog!  Don’t worry…we aren’t dead or going anywhere…

But we’re working on a relaunch. If you look to the right you’ll notice that our beloved Justin Robey has bid us farewell, but we’re welcoming Porkfry to the show. We’re very fortunate to have Greg aboard, and we’re going to be doing some new things with his help.

Watch this space over the next week for a couple of older shows to be posted that we never got edited properly. After that the relaunch will officially begin, with Pork joining the cast, and more regular shows after that.

Thanks for sticking with us, we’re just getting to the point where we should all be able to say more about the games we’re working on–we’re excited for everyone to hear more about Crackdown 2, [REDACTED] and of course, [REDACTED]

We wanted to wish you all a safe and wonderful holiday, however you celebrate it!  We have a show in the works, but things are slow going with the holiday time.  We are hoping it will be out before New Years, but no promises.

The good news is that the first of our series on inside the industry will be a Producer named Chris Lee.  So at least I gave you a little teaser!

UPDATE: John here, thought I’d jump in and explain what I’ve been up to. All the pages should now be more consistent, and less cluttered. I’ve also buried the internal feeds that could break in the future. Make sure your subscription points to feedburner.com, not platformbiased.com.

Also, WordPress 2.7 is on the brink of release. I’m running a Release Candidate on a test site so that we don’t break anything major when we roll to 2.7. There is some neat stuff that should help us add new features easier in the future.

Finally, the new show should be up on Wednesday.

Just wanted to let you all know that we have a new show coming out very soon!  I know everyone is wondering what our schedule is going to be like with the holiday’s, and I wanted to give everyone a heads up that we will be doing regular shows throughout December.  We also have a really cool series coming up, that we hope to share with you here shortly.  So stay tuned!
